Job Responsibilities:
Marshall Cavendish Education is looking for 2 Marketing Executives to support 2 product suites - (1) Maths and Science and (2) English and Asian Languages.
Product Marketing
- Develop and drive the Go-To-Market strategy to the identified market.
- Work with Acquisition Associates (Commissioning Editors) to develop product messages and positioning for key educational solutions.
- Set in place and implement roll-out plans and track.
- Own the product life cycle of MCE's product suite.
- Manage and develop the creation of compelling marketing content to create awareness and drive leads (i.e., presentations, case studies, email copy, web-based resources, video, recorded demos and brochures).
- Propose creative ways to repackage products.
- Take on post-publication content-related follow up actions that will support sales (i.e., mapping to curriculum and/or product recommendations).
- Respond to content, teaching and usage related queries of our education products from external and internal stakeholders.
- Train sales team on our education products.
- Provide product presentations to customers and/or key distributors.
Field Marketing (for English and Asian Languages products only):
- Plan, execute and coordinate for all events and webinars with multiple partners.
- Facilitate as moderator/host for all events.
- Work closely with legal team to prepare any documents or contracts related to events or webinars.
- Launch marketing activities for competitions such as MCE Global Writing Competition.
- Monitor and track the sign-up rate for competitions.
- Facilitate procurement process in our inhouse system and track expenditure against budget.
- Booking of travel/accommodation document for all speakers, delegates and internal team when required.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in marketing or business development.
- Good understanding of the education industry will be an advantage.
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong language abilities in English and Chinese depending on main medium of instruction.
- Excellent communication, presentations, and copywriting in English.
- Experienced candidates may be considered for a more senior position.
