Project Manager

In this role, you will conceptualize, design, and implement digital content programs.  You will lead and oversee the projects in the eBook development team, which includes training and guiding the short-term assignment staff and interns (local & overseas) on the production of interactive e-books.


To be successful in this role, you need to balance creativity and data, and have a digital first mindset with a pulse on new technologies.

What you’ll do :

  • Be responsible for the design and implementation of e-book projects, from project scoping to implementation and review.
  • Update project status to the team using clearly defined performance indicators and reports.
  • Manage the digitization of questions and interactive exercises, and associated resources in textbooks and workbooks, using Microsoft Excel, Adobe Indesign and other proprietary software. Includes reviewing the completed work and training of short-term assignment staff in the team.
  • Conduct content checks and quality checks on various Operating Systems/browsers.
  • Perform application testing and quality analysis prior to production roll-out.
  • Collaborate with content partners to ensure the timely delivery of the project.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree with about 1 year of working experience in education, instructional design or editorial, or equivalent work experience in multi-media development preferred
  • Experience in curriculum development, with good knowledge of learning pedagogies and instructional design principles
  • Ability to work and learn independently
  • Strong team-player qualities, with resourcefulness, having an creative mindset, good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a meticulous manner
  • Able to work in collaboration with peers or subject matter experts to analyze and understand learning requirements, in order to determine the use of the right digital learning tools
  • Competency with Microsoft applications such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Some background in programming or knowledge of Indesign will be an advantage
  • Comfortable working with text in traditional Chinese (comprehension of Chinese not required, though an advantage), as subject content (eg. math, science) is in Chinese
  • Ability to troubleshoot and make revisions as required
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under demanding deadlines
