Retail Merchandiser

Job Responsibilities:

  • Market survey and feedback on trend and competitors
  • Meet sales and merchandising target set by the company
  • Provide excellent service and enhance good customer relationship/rapport with Managers of retail stores/channel partners to secure order for all the products.
  • Secure outlets and space at retail level. Be proactive in looking for new additional space in stores and to take charge of set up of new stores’ spaces
  • Provide display solutions in retail. Responsible for maximising the in-store visibility of company’s full range of products
  • Provide display solutions in retail
  • Assist in setting up outpost / pop up stores
  • Order taking at retail
  • Replenishment at retail
  • Ensure stocks are properly displayed and well merchandise with adequate level of stocks to prevent loss sales. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring no damaged stocks
  • Provide regular feedback on the sales performance of our product, store and display issues, and competitor's activities to supervisor
  • Support Sales by collating customers order for processing and merchandise ordering
  • Ad hoc stores request - e.g assist stock take (Conduct monthly stock take at assigned consignment stores to ensure stocks accuracy)

Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma with good communication skill
  • A team player but also be able to work independently
  • Willing to travel daily to retail outlets
  • Self motivated and sales driven (Versatile and self-motivated team player)
  • Enthusiasm, initiative and passion for goods distribution
  • Commercially minded and demonstrate the ability to drive result in a multi- channel environment.
  • Meticulous in ensuring 100% stock fulfillment and consignment stores’ neatness.
  • Good communicator to work with other departments that are responsible for fulfilling orders or providing service to customers.
  • Good organisational skills to coordinate all aspects of sales administration
  • Knack for solving problems with agility and creativity
  • Flexible mindset and constantly having a learning attitude to evolve to a better and stronger team player.
